I have been looking into the TCC field and have found out they have some heating running under the field for the winter days. With my plans to put cooling under the field this may be useful as there is already something under the field. I have noticed that in the winter the field is never cleared of snow even tho they say it is heated. Do you think I should look into cooling the field for summer while heating it more during the winter so the field is cleared for people to play all year round? Just looking for suggestions.
Thanks
Hey Kyle

I think you should definitely look at heating and cooling the field if you are going to use geothermal, as this will increase the efficiency of the system.
ReplyDeleteIf you are taking heat out of the field in the summer, it might be used to heat the pool?
Hey Kyle,
ReplyDeleteI found an interesting website which talks about stadium cooling Technologies. http://worldfootballinsider.com/Story.aspx?id=33733
I hope it helps you out, good luck with the research!

Hey Kyle,
ReplyDeleteTry using the extra heat to warm up benches ans sitting for spectators. If your going to run Geo-thermal already, might as well run the channels everywhere and use it to it's max. potential.
Good Luck
Shawn
